Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 15, 2026

1. Who We Are

WellSight (“WellSight,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a physician-led eye and skin rejuvenation practice located at 29995 Technology Dr., Suite 203, Murrieta, CA 92563. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit wellsight.vision (the “Site”), book a consultation, communicate with us, or receive services from our practice.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address — for example when you book a consultation, fill out a form, call, or email us.
  • Appointment and scheduling information, including requested services, appointment dates, and communications about your visits.
  • Health-related information you choose to share with us in connection with a consultation or treatment, such as skin or eye concerns, medical history, and treatment goals.
  • Payment information, processed through secure third-party payment and financing providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on the Site.
  • Photos, such as before-and-after treatment photos, which are only used publicly with your separate written consent.
  • Website usage information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, confirm, and manage consultations and appointments;
  • To provide treatments and related patient care;
  • To respond to your questions and communicate with you about our services;
  • To process payments and financing applications through our third-party providers;
  • To send appointment reminders, follow-ups, and — with your consent — promotional communications;
  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • To comply with legal, regulatory, and professional obligations.

4. Health Information & HIPAA

As a medical practice, health information we collect and maintain in connection with your care is protected health information (“PHI”) governed by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and applicable California medical privacy laws, including the Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA). Our use and disclosure of PHI is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, available at our office upon request. Where this Privacy Policy and our Notice of Privacy Practices conflict with respect to PHI, the Notice of Privacy Practices controls.

Please avoid submitting detailed medical information through general website forms or email — these channels are not intended for urgent or sensitive medical communications.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes. We share information only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — such as our online scheduling platform, payment and financing providers (e.g., Cherry), website hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers — under obligations to protect your information;
  • Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants, and insurers, where necessary;
  • Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our patients, staff, or others;
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the practice, subject to this Policy.

6. Text Messages, Email & Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive calls and text messages from us related to your appointments and care, including appointment confirmations and reminders. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. Opting out of marketing communications does not affect transactional messages about your appointments.

7. Cookies & Analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, measure Site performance, and understand how visitors use our pages. We may use third-party analytics services and embedded tools (such as our review widget, embedded videos, and our scheduling widget) that set their own cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site features. The Site is not designed to respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) may give you the following rights with respect to personal information not otherwise covered by HIPAA/CMIA:

  • Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
  • Right to access a copy of your personal information;
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Right to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (including medical record retention requirements);
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — note that we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA;
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@wellsight.vision or (951) 740-9690. We will verify your identity before fulfilling your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.

9. Data Security & Retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including secure hosting and encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, and we retain medical records for the periods required by California law.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services and the Site are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services — such as Google Maps, Instagram, product retailers, our scheduling platform, and financing providers. Those sites operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies before providing information.

12. Medical Disclaimer

Content on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Individual results vary. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider — such as the doctors at WellSight — regarding your specific situation. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
